Veteran broadcaster and charity campaigner Sir Jimmy Savile has died at his home in Leeds, aged 84.
The police were called to his home on Saturday afternoon. The police are not treating his death as suspicious.
Savile was due to celebrate his 85th birthday on Monday.

Coronation Street actress Betty Driver has died at the age of 91.
Driver joined the ITV soap in 1969 as barmaid Betty Turpin – later Williams.
She was employed on a three-month contract but stayed for 42 years. “I thought, why not,” Driver recalled. “It’ll make a break for a while.”
